I kept telling him all week that I was cancelling his birthday and that he has to stay 2. He was not happy to hear that. He also doesn't like it when I tell him he'll always be my baby. He just wants to be big and I just want him to slow down!
We started our day with blueberry muffins which he loves. We let him open presents. We got him a kids pitching machine which amazingly works pretty well and he can actually hit the ball from it. It's been fun to have in our basement. He also got a beanie baby bear stuffed animal similar to what his sisters have. This was the one thing he asked for on his birthday. And he LOVES it. They all are obsessed with their bears right now. They call them their oot oots cuz apparently that is how bears talk...oot oot oot...as they shove the bear in my face and yell that into my ear. Good times around here!
That morning the girls were invited to Lilly's birthday party so after we dropped them off we took Jaron to the mall to ride the train in his new Paw Patrol shirt with his super hero cape on. He was so funny on the train and was so excited to ride it.
That afternoon when the girls got back we went over to Classic and let them do the bounce houses and jungle for a while. And then ended the night with dinner and of course cupcakes.
Sunday the party continued at grandma and grandpa's where Jaron got a scooter from my parents, lots of fun presents from his cousins, and got to celebrate his birthday with Lilly who has a birthday the day after his (1 year apart) because we have so many people in our family, we have to do 2 pans of brownies so they each got their own pan to blow candles out with!
At Jaron's 3 year old doctor appt. he came in at 50% weight (31 lbs) and 50% height (37 inches) The doctor was impressed with how much he's talking, his recall and his physical milestones. He's very proud he can hop on one foot and will show anyone that wants to watch!
Happy Birthday Jaron, we love our cute 3 year old.
