Grandma Glover came to visit, always fun when she's here.
We had another soccer season. The girls got to play on an all girl team and they loved the change that brought to their game. Siena scored her first goal during the season.
We attempted to go to this Unicorn Festival at the outlets and oh boy was it the craziest thing we had ever done. It was sooo crowded and just crazy amount of people. In fact they were supposed to have this balloon drop and had to shut it down because of the amount of people. We did get to see a few things and pet a unicorn. Aria is still very obsessed with Unicorns so I was glad we went even though the crowds were crazy.
I got to go with the girls on their 1st grade field trip to the Bean Museum. This was the first chance I have had to go on a field trip with them so it was lots of fun and they were excited to have me along.
We had a few fun Easter activities. We had a neighborhood Easter egg hunt up at the park which was fun and easy as everyone just brought eggs and we threw them out on the grass.
The kids were super disappointed that they had a soccer game right when the Highland City Easter egg hunt was this year so I looked up and realized the Cedar Hills Easter egg hunt was right in between the girls and Jaron's game that day so after one game ended we raced to the other park, got there literally as the horn sounds, gathered Easter eggs and jumped in the car and went back for our 2nd game of the day. We lucked out on the timing and the kids were happy to do another egg hunt.
Easter egg dying and other Easter pictures from the holiday.
The kids had their Ridgeline fun run. It was cold and rainy this year and in fact they moved the time up and had them run at an earlier time which was a bummer for a lot of parents that missed out. I was lucky I was there doing take home reading book exchanges when they announced the change so I got to go out and watch just in time.
The girls were so excited that their first grade teacher, Mrs. Correa, decided to do a class Battle of the Books for them. They read all the books, formed teams and did a great job. Siena's team ended up winning for the class and it was fun to watch all the kids get so excited about reading.
