Here's a little bit of what we've been up to this first week of the girl's life:
The hospital stay was very busy between looking after Siena, trying to get some rest, seeing some visitors and visiting Aria in the NICU.
Saying good-bye to Aria in the NICU the day we go home from the hospital
Siena all ready to go home
We came home from the hospital on Wednesday with Siena. Leaving Aria at the hospital was way harder than I ever anticipated it would be. Add in, pain medication, hormone emotions and lack of sleep and let's just say it was a very rough day. She has great nurses who are all so nice and positive, but it was still hard to walk out those doors and go home.
Aria with her feeding tube in her nose, doesn't it make your nose itch?
Since then we go back twice a day for some of her feedings and the progress has been amazing. We hope/think she will be home with us in the next few days.
No feeding tube....certificate of progress!
Having Siena home with us has been so fun. We love to just stare at her and the many faces she makes. She's met her cousin just older then her, Max, and her BFF that has been so excited to meet her, Holland.
We've had my sister Christy in town and also my mother in law. Both of them have each taken a night to watch Siena so I can get some sleep. It has helped me recover a lot so hopefully when Aria gets home I'll be feeling pretty good.
So our life consists of seeing family, resting, watching Siena and going to visit Aria. What a week it's been. Both babies are really good eaters and sleepers. I know this phase will pass but so far it's not all that bad.
Well Siena is clicking her tongue, so I guess it's time to go feed her.

Excellent news! We'll keep a lookout for that precious Aria to get home real soon. Love you!
Holland's hand on top of Siena's head is so funny!! Ha ha! I love the pictures of Aria. There are some new ones that I haven't seen before.
Sheri! They are beautiful! I can't wait to see them!
