Easter 2016

We had another great Easter this year.  For some reason the girls have been asking about death and other related questions.  Not sure what brought this on but it was a good opportunity to teach them about the plan of salvation and specifically about Jesus and his Resurrection.  They loved hearing the story and I repeated it several times in different ways.

The cutest thing is hearing Jaron's little voice say the word 'Resurrection'  On Easter Sunday when I asked him what he learned about, totally expecting to hear Jesus...his little voice said 'I learned the Resurrection!'

We had our annual neighborhood easter egg hunt which never disappoints and finally the girls were running from egg to egg instead of choosing which color egg they were going to pick up or opening each one in between.  So we got a lot more candy then past years.  In fact I think we got more candy then we did at Halloween.  It was pretty chilly that day but at least it was sunny.

We had Grandma Glover and Aunt Margene over for Easter dinner which was nice.

The kids got hoppity hop balls from the Easter bunny and they have been the biggest hit.  Especially Aria loves to jump all over the house on them.  We've had races on them as well.  The girls also drew little notes for the Easter bunny
