We had such a fun Halloween week.
All the kids wanted to dress up as of course their favorite cartoon characters...Paw Patrol. Siena was Skye, Aria was Everest and Jaron was Marshall. They were lucky that they got to use their dress up costumes a lot the week of Halloween.
The girls (well and Jaron) got to dress up for their dance class.
Then they had a pre-school Halloween party and got to trick or treat and dress up.
We did our annual pumpkin carving. And 2 years in a row now Siena has gagged when I've lifted the lid off of her pumpkin. I'm not sure if it's the smell or the sight but it cracks we up. I'm talking full on gagging where I'm telling her to look away and not to throw up!
We also had a Halloween party we were invited to at the parking lot of our preschool where some businesses put on a trunk or treat with some games and yummy treats (they had the Art City Donut truck come and serve hot yummy donuts.)
When they woke up Haloween morning they couldn't believe their ears when I told them they couldn't go trick or treating until after dinner. Talk about torture waiting all day. Luckily we stayed pretty busy and went over to Aunt Margene's for a little while.
As I was getting dinner ready, Aria was coloring a picture and told me that the first trick or treater to come to our door was going to get her beautiful picture. Sure enough as soon as the door knocked she grabbed her paper and ran to the door and handed it to one of the girls. When I explained why they were getting it, the trick or treaters, (pre-teenagers) were so cute and were super nice and happy to receive her coloring!
Trick or treating was fun. They of course loved all the candy and running from door to door. Then they came home and might have had more fun passing out the candy to everyone else. They all took turns holding the bowl, opening and closing the door. And everyone of course thought it was cute as well.
It was a fun Halloween week!
