We went to the Zoo this fall after everyone was back in school. It was a pretty warm day and nice to see all the animals on a day that wasn't that crowded. We went with the girl's friend Marin in our neighborhood.
We made our annual trip to Gardner Village where we saw all the witches and then of course their favorite part, riding the horses that 'don't go in a circle'
We also went up to Snowbird for customer appreciation days. It was so warm and at the top it was only in the 50's, where usually at the top it's in the 30's. It was fun because we randomly ran into The Pace's who ended up about 5 people behind us in line. We're such BFF's on the same wave length when we don't even realize it.
We went to 2 different pumpkin patches this year. One with our neighbors and one just as a family. Both were fun and had different activities for the kids.
We went on 2 different hikes. The girls are finally at an age that we felt they could go on some easy hikes without them asking us to hold them. We had such a fun time and they did great. Shane carried Jaron for the first one to Bell Canyon since it was all up hill and up some big steps. His legs just couldn't climb them, although I'm sure he would've done a great job trying. He walked the whole way when we went to Donut Falls. We even saw a big moose in the bushes that was actually quite close to us. I was nervous it was going to run right towards us but it went a little ways away before it cut across the hiking trail.
The kids this fall have been into shows and routines. This was their first Swing Set show that I got invited to where they showed me all their tricks on the swing set. We do these a lot these days indoors as well. They like to show off all their 'trick's which usually involves jumping off something and over an obstacle.
It was Aunt Margene's birthday and we celebrated by having her over to make her own cupcakes! :)
We all got new BYU gear this football season. I wish everyone could hear my kids sing 'Rise and Shout' It's seriously so cute to hear them sing and all their raw raw raws at the end.
Last but not least, I chopped my hair. I've been kind of bored with it lately so I needed a little change. I like it although it takes more time to keep it up and looking decent each day.
