Jaron turned 10 this year! Double Digits and the same number that he wears for soccer and the same number as his favorite soccer player, Messi.
We had a fun busy day on his actual birthday. Opened presents and then went to Labrynth that afternoon. Jaron got a Messi jersey which he was so excited about along with a new game we saw on the beach called Cuub.
That night we had a big birthday party up at the club house. It was fun because he had friends from the neighborhood, from school and from his soccer team. We watched part of a movie and swam, ate pizza and cake and opened presents. It was a fun night and fun to just watch all the friends play together.
Later the following week I took Jaron to Chom, his favorite burger place that he's been wanting me to try and eat at. The girls and Shane were at girls camp.
Jaron keeps so busy. He is always playing with friends, finding things to do and never just sits around being bored. He still loves soccer and plays any chance he can get. He loves when Shane or I will drive him to a field so he can shoot goals. He's very sensitive to what others think of him, wants to be accepted. He still wants the approval of his sisters and he has a hard time being not only the youngest but also the only boy. He's so smart and has done so well in the accelerated program this last year. He loves to read at night and stays up so late reading. He is good about going to go do things for me when I ask. He has lots of friends from all different areas (school, soccer, neighborhood, etc.) which I love!
We love you Jaron, keep being the good, cute boy you are! I can't wait to see what this next year brings you!
