Learning to share

I had another ultrasound this week but this was the big one where they do all the measurements.  I am 19 weeks.  Both babies look great and are measuring just fine for everything.  They are both still girls!

So I thought you would want to see maybe the beginning of their personalities.

This is a picture of Baby A.  See how she is all curled up and just minding her own business.

This is a picture of Baby B.  The reason you can't really see her is she is totally spread out laying across baby A.  And what is worse...the whole time in the ultrasound you can see her kicking her sister so hard like she's trying to make more room for herself.  Hello space hog.

So obviously they are going to have to learn to share a little bit better especially as space gets tighter and tighter in there.  However, the last 2 ultrasounds now, Baby B has been kicking away while Baby A is moving but not nearly as aggressively kicking as her sister.  I hope they like each other when they get out but to me it looks like they're already fighting.  Oh the beginnings of their personalities.  We'll have to see if there is a difference in their personalities when they're born.

I now meet with Dr. Draper, a neonatologist who specializes in multiples.  He gave me a lot of good information.  After this next appt. in 4 weeks I start going to the dr. every 2 weeks, meeting with him and Dr. Langer every other time.  He did say that with twins if I haven't had them that they would induce me somewhere between 37 and 38 weeks.

That's the latest on this pregnancy. I've been feeling them move more and more.  I'm feeling pretty good.  When my doctor measured my stomach I'm measuring at 24cm or whatever the measurement is.  I think for a single pregnancy you are supposed to be the same cm as you are weeks, so I'm measuring 24 weeks if I was pregnant with one baby.

I've been feeling pretty good lately.  I've been starting to get a little back pain when I sit too long or lay on one side too long, so it's manageable now but I think I may be in for a lot of discomfort coming up soon.

And here is the latest on how I look.

How fun for you, Sheri. I can tell already that one of your daughters might be a little bit more feisty than the other! But that's okay. Someone has to take charge, right? You are so cute. Love your little bump. Any names chosen yet that you can share?

Oh my gosh...look at you! You look so cute. I wasn't as tiny as you at that point...even with just 1 baby! I love the ultrasound pics and the story to go along with it. Glad all is going well. Can't wait to meet them!
