How many people can claim that they went to Prom with their husband?? Unless you were high school sweethearts, probably not many of you can. Well, a couple weeks ago, Shane and I went to Prom.
Ok so we didn't actually attend the Prom, but we volunteered at it for the Best Buddies organization. Best Buddies is an organization where children with developmental and intellectual disabilities get to have a 'best buddy' to go and do different activities with. This night was their prom and we were able to volunteer at it with Brigitte and Tyler and Lisa and Todd.
Shane and I were in charge of the Thank You table where anyone could come and color or write a thank you note to the many sponsors/organizers of the event. Brigitte, Lisa, and Todd helped with the photography line while Tyler went around and took some candid pictures.
It was a fun night watching all the kids having a good time, dancing, eating, and even doing the conga line in which Brigitte and I participated.
And what would a prom be without the infamous prom pictures.

Love it! This Prom was MUCH better than my HS Jr. Prom!! My date to the Jr. Prom had a cast on his leg. Dancing was...um...not so great!
You should now do a post with pics from your HS Prom. Yes. Do it!!
Wow, you guys are doing some fun stuff together... PROM, who knew:). I love any chance to dance with the hubby... problem is their are not too many chances. Glad you guys took up this chance and it was for a great cause too!
